Hartley Nature Preschool’s mission is to inspire lifelong connections with nature through education, play and exploration in a premier preschool environment that supports the whole child’s development while preparing children for school.
*Children must be 3 years old by Sept. 1st and toilet trained to enroll in HNP.
HNP’s curriculum supports the development of the whole child and is seasonal, place-based, experiential, child-directed and developmentally appropriate for children ages 3-5. HNP’s curriculum and activities include:

|Listening to birds sing||Listening to a story|
|Dancing and singing||Jumping in puddles|
|Making a mud pie||Painting and drawing|
Registration is open for HNP’s 2017-18 preschool year. Applications are due on January 31, 2017. Click the document link below to download the Application for Enrollment.
December 15, 2016--January 31, 2017Enrollment Applications accepted for returning families, waiting list families, and the general public. Applications must be complete and include $50 application fee
February 17, 2017 Class placement notification
March 1, 2017 Non-refundable deposits are due (applied to May 2018 tuition payment)
Late Applications Applications received after January 31 will be considered in the order received
Hartley Nature Preschool accepts funding from St. Louis County and the MN Early Learning Scholarships. If you are interested in a scholarship to attend HNP, please apply for county and state funding as a first step. Hartley Nature Center offers a very limited number of scholarships through the generous support of our donors. Applications for Hartley Nature Center scholarships will be available in early spring.
