Whether it's a day camp, weekly story-based program, monthly Saturday program, or even a special event, we have something we are sure you and your little one will love.

nature nook

Our weekly get-together that always includes reading a nature themed book, making a craft and taking a short hike. Meet here at 10:00 am and be sure both of you are prepared for the weather. Runs 90 minutes every Monday and Tuesday. See the Nature Nook schedule for upcoming programs.

Cost: $3 for members, $6 for non-members

Saturday sprites

Meet with us the second Saturday of each month November through April for a true outdoor adventure! Kids and parents spend time with a naturalist to learn ways to enjoy nature together; activities usually include an outdoor application of things learned along with games and crafts. Activities begin at 10am and wrap up by noon. See the schedule for upcoming topics.

Cost: $4 for members, $7 for non-members

day camps

Join the fun as Hartley now offers camps for the tiny set too. Our pre-school camps are three days, and offer a more in-depth look into the mysteries of the natural world. Offered winter and summer, they provide age-approporiate activities and fun. Our next camp begins the week of December 27-30.

Special events

Howl-O-Ween returns for its fifth year of (not very) spooky critter hikes, goodies, games, and of course lots of treats. More than 300 people joined us for 2011. We have two sessions to accomodate even more little goblins. You can choose to join us from either 10:00 am to noon or 1:30-3:30 pm on Saturday, October 27, 2012. The cost is just $15 per family. You MUST preregister for this event! Call us today to get signed up.
