Hartley Nature Center Center is collecting all the data and images available for the park, from historical photographs to aerial surveys to past undergraduate research project summaries. Major sources of data have included early farm maps and information from 1896 to 1918, a series of air photographs dating back to 1939, soil texture surveys in the late 1930's, various downloads off the web such as a topographic map & pre settlement (public land survey) tree flora and vegetation distribution, CSA forestry classification, and data from various agencies. |
