Here at Hartley we have a number of Opportunities for you to get involved, ranging from membership and donating, all the way to volunteering and interning. Helping Hartley provide the community with a natural place in which to live and learn is a rewarding and educational experience for all involved, so please consider becoming involved with our organization and helping us fulfill our mission and achieve our goals.
The Vision:
Hartley Nature Center will contribute to a community in which people integrate a full understanding and appreciation of the natural world into their everyday lives.
We believe that we can do this best by:
1) Offering educational programs emphasizing life-long learning and interest in Natural History.
2) Initiating hands-on Stewardship opportunities for restoring remnants of the region's natural communities.
3) Providing a facility, as well as programming, that models the important connection between Sustainability in lifestyle and the natural world around us.
