WELCOME TO
HARTLEY NATURE CENTERCamps are filling up! The Hartley Summer Camp 2008 catalog is ready and you can see it right here Bander's Breakfast Fun and feathers for another Hartley spring ritual. We will serve a light continental-style breakfast and then net and band songbirds. It is Saturday, May 17th from 8:30 to 11:00 am. The Bander's Breakfast is free for Hartley members and $7.00 for non-members. You must pre-register so call us at 724-6735 to get signed up today. Wildflower Walks begin soon Stroll the Hartley trails and discover the incredible fleeting beauty of spring with us. Find out how here. Open...but gooey The city has re-opened all city trails but soft and muddy conditions are still out there. Please preserve our trails by avoiding very wet areas until they dry up. And be sure to stop in the building to check out our exhibits, pick up a map and ask any questions you might have about the park.

Driving Instructions To Hartley Nature Center
Arriving in Duluth on I-35 North, take the 21st Ave. East exit. Turn Left at the end of the off-ramp and proceed straight up the hill on 21st Ave. East. Take a right at the top of the hill when the road merges with Woodland Ave. Stay on Woodland Ave. for approximately 2.3 miles. After you go through a stop sign at the intersection of Woodland Ave and Oxford St. you will start to go up another hill, and midway up that hill you will see signs on the left that say "Hartley Park". Turn left, and you're here!
