takOur 3rd annual Youth Outdoor Expo is coming up Saturday, May 3rd. We only have room for the first 125 kids from ages 6 to 15 who register, and the fun is free.
Join our staff member Joy, for guided evening wildflower walks where we'll stroll through a different section of Hartley Park each month, stopping to check what's blooming or who's singing. Cost is $4 for members, $6 non-members and kids are FREE.
Two Wednesdays a month we host a garden night at Hartley Nature Center to have volunteers work on our butterfly and water gardens next to the building. Learn about native plants, identify various insects, enjoy conversations with fellow volunteers and relax with a cool popcicle as well. There is no cost, no experience necessary and all ages are invited (kids please bring an adult with you.)
We've added a camp, a few camper changes have been- all resulting in a few more spots available this summer. Call the office for the latest openings, 724-6735.
